Wine Club Policies


A California Sale


All wines are sold in California, and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation as to the rights of anyone to import wine into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order where you want it delivered.


Legal Age


Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old, and that the person to whom your wine will be delivered is also at least 21 years old. When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. If possible, direct your package to a business address where the shipper can easily obtain an adult signature. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made by the carrier. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to us. Re-shipments will be charged the same shipping fees as the original order.


Sales Tax and Shipping Fees


Sales tax will be added to your purchase where applicable. Shipping charges are extra and will range between $13.50 and $19.50, or more, for any two-bottle package, depending on your location within the continental U.S. If you order more than two bottles for a single package, shipping charges will be more than the ones quoted above. You are welcome to call or email us for precise amounts. Quoted shipping prices are for ground transport. Please call or email us with instructions if you prefer air freight.


Most bottle orders ship within 48 hours. Wine Club shipments go out on or near the 10th of every month. Shipping charges are calculated at the end of the shopping cart process, which includes packing your wine in special protective boxes and shipping via standard ground service.


No Obligation


If you are joining the club instead of giving a gift, you need not commit to a specific number of months. You may cancel at any time with one month’s notice.  (We pre-buy our wine club wines one month in advance). But we predict that you will thoroughly enjoy the wines and want to continue forever.


Refund/Exchange Policy

Club releases are non-refundable and they cannot be exchanged.  If a wine is defective, please let us know and we are happy to replace it.
